What is Soaptree e-Partners Project?
Innovate workforce development strategy
The Soaptree E-Partners is a workforce development project developed by Community Inclusion & Development Alliance (CIDA), a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that serves individuals with disabilities. The Soaptree e-Partners project aims to create job opportunities for people with disabilities by providing training in occupational skills training that are highly demanded in the labor market.
Our goals are: 1) to improve the quality of life of people with disabilities by developing jobs that match individual talents and needs, 2) to train and retain the workers through the E-Commerce project and partnerships with local businesses, and 3) to build a pipeline towards larger disability workforce development projects that attract more investment from the state and private sectors. In addition, this project aims to foster cooperation with women and minority-owned businesses (natural soap and care products) in NYS.
